Bibimbap @ Won, Korean Dining, Isetan One Utama

Remember I blog about RM 10 Bibimbap @ Asia Cafe Subang? I must admit that I got the craving of Bibimbap, this time I bump into this Won, Korean Dining Restaurant at Isetan One Utama and I decide to go in and have my dinner in there.

The Korean "steel series" of spoon and chopsticks.

Ice Green Tea (RM 3.00), fragrant of green tea taste in this almost "plain" water.

Jeyook Dolsot Bibimbap (RM 22.00), translate: pork stone-pot bibimbap. With variety of vegetables, raw eggs, pork meat serve in very hot stone-pot, then serve up to customer and let customer themselves stir and mix their bibimbap then eat it.

Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap (RM 23.00), translate: beef stone-pot bibimbap.

It makes me take some time to finish series of dolsot bibimbap because it is so hot, dolsot series of bibimbap are suitable eat in their own country - South Korea because their places temperature are much more lower than Malaysia.

With RM 22.00 of dolsot bibimbap include a small bowl of soup and other side dishes (image at below of this post).

Sweet chili sauce (video link of: GoChuJang) for bibimbap, to put "some" or "all of them" inside the dolsot bibimbap and stir them all together then eat it. This sweet chili sauce consider "no so spicy", when you take a very first sip of it, then you will taste the mild spiciness within few minutes or later. Compare this sauce with the RM 10 Bibimbap that I had in Asia Cafe Subang Jaya, this sauce is taste much more better.

There is also some side dish too, I think it is my very first time try this kimchi, and I think that this kimchi suppose to mix with the bibimbap and mix with it. My first impression towards Kimchi is full of love and excitement, and I eat it raw, that's why it makes me realize that all these side dishes is suppose to mix in the bibimbap and cook it!

Overall, I think I am still new in Korean cuisine and I have more to learn about how to eat Korean food in a very proper way, else I will end up eat all those side dishes in a improper way. RM 22.00 dolsot bibimbap with many side dishes with a nice GoChuJang sauce was totally worth it. I would like to drop by again because they got serve Soju (alchohol), then plan to eat their bbq pork-belly and enjoy with friends hehe.

Won, Korean Dining restaurant is not Halal, because they got serve pork for Bibimbap and serve pork-belly for bbq.

Address: 2nd Floor, Eat Paradise Isetan, One Utama Shopping Centre, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. (Near TGV Cinema, this Restaurant got "fenced" with other Japanese restaurant, that is why it is hard to look for it.)

    1. now this one looks more like a bibimbap than the RM10 you had earlier, don't you think, hahaha!! RM22 not that expensive, as you consider they give you unlimited and free banchan to go with..
