First of all, would like to thanks Churp2 giving me opportunity to watch ParaNorman, and I totally enjoy this movie! Wanna know how I win the ticket from Churp2? Here is the perma. link of it.
Anyways, I thought there is a huge zombie invasion into ParaNorman town. Sadly it is not about it, it is about a curse that place upon 7 people which is offend the "Witch" long long time ago. Basically this post contain many spoiler, please avoid it if you wanna watch this show in cinema.
Alvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) & Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee). Norman got a very special talent, which can see ghost and he go talk to them, making him seems to be more weirder and everyone in the town try to avoid him. Alvin is a bully in the school, bully Norman and call him as a freak, bully Neil and call him fatty lol.
Neil (Tucker Albrizzi) & Norman, Neil is a very funny kid. There is few funny scene about Neil, he wear a "Jason" mask, how he define his boobies, and he being as a tree. Neil was just funny at front part of this movie, at the end he is addicted into books reading.
Babcock Family, beginning of this movie was slightly freaky and funny, because Norman grandmother was pass away long time ago, and Norman still talk to her like a normal person. Norman got scolded by his dad-Perry because grandma ask Norman to adjust the heater at home.
It wasn't a mass zombie invasion, it is just a 7 cursed zombie broke out from their grave and searching for something. These 7 zombie got bully by town folks and nearly torn them into pieces, why are they cursed by the witch then? This scene is kind of funny and their expression is priceless. (I do know some news about ParaNorman production which need to use the toy model + multi face expression)
Overall rating would be 6/10, some part of this movie I laugh, ending was slightly too serious. Watching this movie once on the big screen would be cool, no need to watch it in 3D! Remember, kids below 13 years old need to have parent watch with them. Oh wait, I haven't tell the whole movie yet, guess that some of you who haven't watch this movie may need to recover the truth by yourself then!
Thanks for reading, by Kian Fai.
