Wrath of the Titans (2012)

First of all, I would like to Thanks Benjamin for the movie invite. This movie screening is actually invite from Nuffnang movie contest, feel free to go Nuffnang Malaysia website for more information. If you watch Clash of the Titans (2010) last time, Wrath of the Titans is the continue episode of it. Some how in year 2010 til this year, there is 3 movie (if no mistaken) that talk about greek mythology and fight between gods and titans, which is included Immortals (2011). I wasn't really active in blogging in year 2010, that is why I didn't write about Clash of the Titans (2010). What I think about this movie, it is definitely better than Clash of the Titans (2010), but this movie story line is kind of fast forward. To be warned, my blog post for this movie might contain spoiler, so . . . please read it with care too!

Sam Worthington as Perseus, he also appear in Clash of the Titans (2010) as Perseus too. This time he is kind of bad ass and very fierce, although he is kind hearted when facing his son Helius. Some of the strangers saw him, they will use the joke and tease him and say "Release the Kraken" LOL!

Ralph Fiennes as Hades and Liam Neeson as Zeus, this scene is happening at the end of the movie, both of them decide to team up and stop Kronos. Both of them try to stop Kronos without any of their own weapon and one of them will be dead good. Trying to be funny over here, they come out "Kamehameha" twice LOL!

Kronos, Father of Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. From the dialog of  the other characters, they describe Kronos is powerful once he absorb Zeus power. Last time Zeus overthrown Kronos throne and imprison Kronos in the underworld prison.

Rosamund Pike as Andromeda. In this whole movie, it only appear one and only army, which is under command of Andromeda. In greek mythology history, Andromeda is wife of Perseus, maybe there is a new production about new movie continue about it.

Edgar Ramirez as Ares, the Battle God. Whoever prepared to participate in war, the soldier will pray for Ares blessing. The blessing will make Ares stronger, that's why he is so strong and give alot of pressure towards Perseus. In this movie, Ares and Hades plan together capture Zeus and release Kronos from the underworld prison. Ares death was very Pitiful.

Above picture is one of the Cyclops that Perseus encounter in the Island where Hephaestus stays, Cyclops is a good kind and help Hephaestus forge weapon. There is also bad monster appear in this movie, but only appear once, those monster are Makhai: who weld sword and only appear in battle field, Minotaur: appear in the Maze and fight with Persues, and Dual Head Chimera: which only appear on beginning of this movie only. I think overall was good, rating would be 6/10. This movie is kind of fast forward, example: they show how big is the maze, the maze which need to cross through and save Zeus from the underworld. And it only take few moment to reach the destination. You may think this movie is not really good from what I write above, maybe you can try watch it in IMAX 3D Theaters, the effect of fight scene might be greater than you thought.

Thanks for reading, by Kian Fai.
